While He is away

He's gone, not permanently, it's just temporary. My heart aches of course, but I know we will be together soon.

He's gone off to be turned into a soldier. He's marching in the cold. That husband of mine. Marching to provide.

Marching towards something Great. How can I not love this man? The man who went against the grain. And while

he is away, being turned into something great I will be his helpmeet and try my hardest to uphold the standards of

1 Timothy 5:14. How can I not? He marches in the cold and I am here in comfort. And while he is away I will

learn to be a Godly wife to him so that when he comes home in those boots and uniform I will know how to bless

him and God willing I will have learned to be a deep woman. A keeper at home beside that soldier in his boots and uniform.

Today, is my eldest son's birthday.
He is 2!





Happy Birthday sweet boy. I pray that you have many more. Youre all boy but I see what a big heart God has given you! Someday it is my prayer that you will be a warrior for Christ and use that big heart to touch lives by showing the power of His grace!!
